21 and 22 March 2019 we will have a visit from Nemoto Sensei to conduct training and grading.

August 10 – 12 (2018) Nemoto Sensei Visit to Mornington Peninsula Dojo
Sat 4 August, the week before Nemoto Sensei’s visit, we will have a Karate Day at Hastings Hall to prepare everybody.
Saturday 4 August 10am to 12pm (2 hrs), plus, 1pm to 3pm (2 hrs)
You must attend both sessions if you want to take a grading. These sessions count towards the 26 sessions you need to grade.
If you do not attend this training preparation day (both sessions) you will not be eligible to grade with Nemoto Sensei.
At this training day, I will decide who from Mornington Peninsula will grade with Nemoto Sensei, so you must attend both of these sessions if you intend grading
Cost for this Saturday $20 (includes light lunch) – Monies payable on the day in an envelope marked with your name.

During Nemoto Sensei’s visit training times will be:
Friday 10 August 4pm to 6pm (2 hours)
Saturday 11 August 10am to 12pm (2 hours) then 1pm to 3pm (2 hours). Please give envelopes to Mark or Ian

To allow people who want to grade with Nemoto Sensei in August (3 months away), there will be a grading the week of Monday 14 May 2018 for people who believe they are ready. You must have taken a grading over 3 months ago, have 26 training sessions in the dojo and have the permission of your dojo head

May 19 – 20 South Australia Gasshuku
We eat, sleep and train at a haunted jail in Gladstone SA (3 hrs drive north of Adelaide). Please let me know if you are going to attend.
The guest instructor this year is John Russo Sensei from Childers Dojo in Queensland. John Sensei has just been promoted to 7th Dan by Takahashi Shihan.
We sleep in prison cells with basic beds, you need to provide your own bedding, ie sleeping bag, pillow or the like.
Mornington Peninsula dojo has been attending this event for that past 4 years. All who have attended have had a great texperience.

To take this grading you must have the permission of your Sensei and be a paid up member of TSKF

10 – 11 March 2018 (Sat & Sun) – Hirata Ryozo Sensei Visit
This year we will be hosting Hirata Sensei as Takahashi Shihan is under doctors orders not to travel.
Training times at Hastings Hall will be:
- Sat 10 March 2018 @ 10 am to 12 pm (training only)
- Sat 10 March 2018 @ 2-30 pm to 4-30 pm (Black Belts, Brown Belts only)
- Sun 11 March 2018 @ 10 am to 12 pm (training & grading)
You must attend both sessions if you want to take a grading.
You must check with your dojo head if you are eligible to take a grading.
NO jewelry to be worn. If you can’t remove you must cover with tape.
Boys – no t-shirts or singlets to be warn under your Gi.
Girls can wear t-shirts under your gi but boys cannot wear.
Show total respect to our visitor.
No talking during the lesson walking off the dojo floor. This is very disrespectful.
