Grading requirements
For Kyu gradings in 2017 you are required to have 24 sessions attendance before you can take a grading
You must be registered with TSKF @ $100/yr.
Our financial year is 1st July to June 30th June.
Jan registration for new people is at a pro-rata rate ie $50

2017 Term Fees – (January, February, March)
Hi all,
Term fees are now due for term 1 of the school year.
I have revised some costs.
Fees are the same as last year for people who started and train at Mornington or Mt Eliza.
For Hastings students Term fees remain the same with 1 exception. If you choose to do additional sessions at Mt Eliza or Mornington there will now be a $5 per session Mat Fee payable on the night. Current Hastings Term fees work out at $4.17 per session if you train 3 times/week at Hastings, which is very reasonable. The additional $5 Mat fee adds minimal cost and is still good value for money.

This years Christmas BBQ and End of Year Presentations will be held at Coolart Homestead, Lord Somers Road, Somers (same place as last year).

South Australia Kata Camp
5 people (me, Mark, Neil, Madi, Michael) from Mornington peninsula Dojo, Plus Bethany and Nick ( a 2nd Dan Goju Ryu instructor) attended from Victoria.
The venue was Sensei Strops farm at Delamere South Australia.
At the camp we reviewed and brushed up on the following Kata
Jion, Wankan, Bassai Sho, Unsu, Jitte, Gankaku, Kanku Sho, Meikyo, Niju Shi Ho, Tejkki Nidan, Goju Shi Ho Dai, Tekki Sandan
The last day we performed all 25 Shotokan Katas twice.
A great weekend with kata explanation (Bunkai) from some of Australia’s best instructors.
Many thanks to our South Australian friends for inviting us to train with them, with a special thanks to Ian Watson Sensei for his guidance and wisdom.
I strongly recommend to all members of Mornington Peninsula Dojo that you make an effort to attend next year.
